章节 1
1 大流士王第二年六月初一日， 耶和华的话藉先知哈该向犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚说：大流士王第二年六月初一日， 耶和华的话藉先知哈该向犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚说：，
1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,
2 大军之 耶和华如此说：「这百姓说，建造 耶和华殿的时候尚未来到。
2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD’s house should be built.
3 那时 耶和华的话临到先知哈该说：，
3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
4 「这殿仍然荒凉，岂是你们自己住天花板的房屋的时候吗？
4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
5 现在大军之 耶和华如此说：你们要省察自己的行为。
5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
6 你们撒的种多，收的却少；你们吃，却不得饱；喝，却不得足；穿衣服，却不得暖；得工钱的，将工钱装在破漏的袋中。
6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
7 大军之 耶和华如此说：「你们要省察自己的行为。
7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
8 你们要上山取木料，建造这殿；我就因此喜乐，且得荣耀，这是 耶和华说的。
8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.
9 你们盼望多得，不料，所得的却少；你们收到家中，我就吹去。这是为甚麽呢？因为我的殿荒凉，你们却各奔往自己的房屋。这是大军之 耶和华说的。
9 Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.
10 所以你们上面的天不降甘露，地也不出土产。
10 Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.
11 我命乾旱临到地土丶山冈丶五谷丶新酒，和油，并地上的出产丶人民丶牲畜，以及人手一切劳碌得来的。
11 And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.
12 那时，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并剩下的百姓，都听从 耶和华─他们 上帝的话和先知哈该奉 耶和华─他们 上帝差来所说的话，百姓也在 耶和华面前存敬畏的心。
12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.
13 耶和华的使者哈该奉 耶和华差遣对百姓说：「 耶和华说：我与你们同在
13 Then spake Haggai the LORD’s messenger in the LORD’s message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.
14 耶和华激动犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并剩下之百姓的灵，他们就来，为大军之 耶和华─他们 上帝的殿作工，
14 And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,
15 这是在大流士王第二年六月二十四日。
15 In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
章节 2
1 七月二十一日， 耶和华的话临到先知哈该说：
1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,
2 「你要晓谕犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并剩下的百姓，说：，
2 Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
3 你们中间存留的，有谁见过这殿起初的荣耀呢？现在你们看着如何？现在这殿岂不在你们眼中比如无有吗？
3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
4 耶和华说：「所罗巴伯啊，虽然如此，你当刚强；约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚啊，你也当刚强； 耶和华说，这地的百姓，你们都当刚强作工，因为我与你们同在。这是大军之 耶和华说的。)”);
4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
5 这是照着你们出埃及我与你们立约的话，我的灵也照着仍在你们中间。你们不要惧怕。
5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
6 这是照着你们出埃及我与你们立约的话，我的灵也照着仍在你们中间。你们不要惧怕。
6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
7 我必震动列国，列国所切慕的也必来到；我就使这殿满了荣耀，这是大军之 耶和华说的。
7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
8 大军之 耶和华说：「银子是我的，金子也是我的。
8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
9 这殿后来大军之 耶和华说：「这後来之殿的荣耀必大过先前的荣耀；在这地方我必赐平安，这是大军之 耶和华说的。的荣耀，必大过先前的荣耀。在这地方我必赐平安。这是万军之耶和华说的。
9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
10 大流士王第二年九月二十四日， 耶和华的话临到先知哈该说：
10 In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
11 大军之 耶和华如此说：「现在你要向祭司问律法说：
11 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
12 若有人用衣襟盛圣肉，这衣襟挨着饼，或汤，或酒，或油，或别的食物，这肉可算为圣吗？」祭司说：「不算为圣。
12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
13 哈该又说：「若有人因摸死尸染了污秽，然後挨着这些物的哪一样，这物算污秽吗？」祭司说：「必算污秽。
13 Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
14 於是哈该说：「 耶和华说：这民这国，在我面前也是如此；他们手下的各样工作都是如此；他们在坛上所献的也是如此。」
14 Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.
15 现在你们当追想，此日以前， 耶和华的殿没有一块石头垒在石头上的光景。)”);
15 And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:
16 自那些日子以来，有人来到谷堆，想得二十斗，只得了十斗；有人来到酒池，想得五十桶，只得了二十桶。
16 Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.
17 在你们手下劳碌所作的一切工上，我以旱风丶霉烂丶冰雹攻击你们；你们仍不归向我，这是 耶和华说的。
17 I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.
18 现在要追想此日以前，从这九月二十四日起，就是从立 耶和华殿根基的那日起追想。
18 Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid, consider it.
19 仓里还有谷种吗？葡萄树丶无花果树丶石榴树丶橄榄树都还没有结果子；从今日起，我必赐福与你们。)”);
19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.
20 这月二十四日， 耶和华的话又临到哈该说：
20 And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,
21 你要告诉犹大省长所罗巴伯说：「我必震动诸天大地；)”);
21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;
22 我必倾覆列国的宝座，除灭异教民之国的势力；我又要倾覆战车并那些驾驭其中的。马必跌倒，骑马的败落，各人被他兄弟的刀所杀。
22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
23 大军之 耶和华说：我仆人撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯啊， 耶和华说，到那日，我必以你为印；因我拣选了你，这是大军之 耶和华说的。
23 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
