提多书第
章节 1
1 神的仆人，耶稣 基督的使徒保罗，凭着 神选民的信心与敬虔真理的知识，
1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
2 盼望那不说谎的 神在创世之先所应许的永生，
2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
3 到了日期，藉着传讲把他的道显明了；这传扬的责任是按着 神我们 救主的命令交托了我。
3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
4 现在写信给提多，就是照着我们共信之道作我真儿子的。愿恩典丶怜悯丶平安从 父神和 主耶稣 基督我们的 救主归与你。
4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
5 我从前留你在克里特，是要你将那没有办完的事都办整齐了，又照我所派定你的，在各城设立长老：
5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
6 若有无可指摘的人，只作一个妇人的丈夫，儿女也信道，没有人告他们是放纵或是不守规矩的，就可以设立。
6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
7 监督既是 神的管家，必须无可指摘，不任性，不暴躁，不好喝酒，不打人，不贪无义之财；
7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
8 乐意款待人，喜爱善人，庄重，公平，圣洁，自持；
8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
9 坚守所教真实的道理，就能将纯正的道理劝化人，又能把争辩的人驳倒了。
9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
10 因为有许多人不守规矩，说虚空话欺哄人；那奉割礼的更是这样。
10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
11 这些人的口必须堵住。他们因贪不义之财，将不该教导的教导人，败坏人的全家。
11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
12 有克里特人中的一个本地先知说：「克里特人常说谎话，乃是恶兽，身懒肚饱。」
12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, the Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
13 这个见证是真的。所以，你要严严的责备他们，使他们在信仰上纯全无疵，
13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
14 不听犹太人荒渺的言语和转离真理之人的诫命。
14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
15 在洁净的人，凡物都洁净；在污秽不信的人，甚麽都不洁净，连心思和良心也都污秽了。
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 他们宣称是认识 神，行事为人却不承认他；本是可憎恶的，是叛逆的，在各样善行上是可废弃的。
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
章节 2
1 但你所讲的总要合乎那纯正的道理。
1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 劝老年人要有节制丶端庄丶自守，在信心丶爱心丶忍耐上都要纯全无疵。
2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
3 又劝老年妇人，行为要合乎圣洁，不诬告人，不好喝酒，用善道教训人，
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 好指教少年妇人节制，爱丈夫，爱儿女，
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 谨守，贞洁，料理家务，待人有恩，顺服自己的丈夫，免得 神的道理被亵渎。
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
6 又劝少年人要谨守。
6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 你自己凡事要显出善行的榜样；在道理上要正直丶端庄丶真诚。
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 言语纯全，无可指责，叫那反对的人，既无处可说你们的不是，便自觉羞愧。
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
9 劝仆人要顺服自己的主人，凡事讨他的喜欢，不可顶撞他，
9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
10 不可私拿东西；要显为忠诚，以致凡事尊荣我们 救主神的道。
10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 因为 神救众人的恩典已经显明与众人，
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 教训我们除去不敬虔的心和世俗的情欲，在今世自守丶公义丶敬虔度日，
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 等候那有福的盼望，并等候至大的 神和我们 救主耶稣 基督的荣耀显现。
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 他为我们舍了自己，要赎我们脱离一切罪恶，又洁净我们，特作自己的子民，热心为善。
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 这些事你要讲明，劝戒人，用各等权柄责备人；不可叫人轻看你。
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
章节 3
1 你要提醒众人，叫他们顺服执政的丶掌权的，遵官长的命，预备行各样的善行。
1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 不要毁谤，不要争竞，总要温和，向众人大显温柔。
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 我们从前也是无知丶叛逆丶受迷惑丶服事各样私欲，和宴乐，活在恶毒嫉妒之中，是可恨的，又是彼此相恨。
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 但到了 神─我们 救主的恩慈和爱向人显明的时候，
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 他便救了我们；并不是因我们自己所行的义，乃是照他的怜悯，藉着重生的洗和 圣灵的更新。
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 这就是 神藉着耶稣 基督我们 救主厚厚浇灌在我们身上的，
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 好叫我们因他的恩得称为义，可以凭着永生的盼望成为後嗣。
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 这话是可信的。我也愿你把这些事不断地讲明，使那些已信 神的人留心行善。这都是美事，并且与人有益。
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
9 要远避无知的辩论和家谱的空谈，以及纷争，并因律法而起的争竞，因为这都是虚妄无益的。
9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 异端者，警戒过一两次，就要弃绝他。
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11 因为知道这等人已经背道，犯了罪，自定己罪。
11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
12 我打发亚提马或是推基古到你那里去的时候，你要赶紧往尼哥坡里去见我，因为我已经定意在那里过冬。
12 When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.
13 你要赶紧给律师西纳和亚波罗送行，叫他们没有缺乏。
13 Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
14 并且我们的人要学习行善，预备所需用的，免得不结果子。
14 And let our’s also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
15 同我在一处的人都问你安，请代问那些因有信心爱我们的人安，愿恩典常与你们众人同在。阿们。
15 All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
